How to change the icon of a ‘Hard disk’

without any software

Step1 : Go to the control panel & open the ‘file explorer option’

Then click on the view

Then you will show the image below

And remove the “right tic” then appply and click on ok

* This will help you to change in file extention

Step2 : Open that drive in which you want to change the icon

             Then right click and make a new “text document.txt” file

Step3 : type inside the text file “[autorun]” press enter and then type in                    next line icon=“name of icon.ico”

          Like image shown below

Save it

  and also paste the icon file in the disk where the text document file is

  present

Step4: Now rename the text document file Like “autorun.inf”

Step5 : now restart your computer

Finally you will see the changed icon of your disk
